A person or business providing an Alternative Electricity Services (AES) is required to apply to the ERA for an AES registration.
Western Australian legislation requires the ERA to establish a public register of registration holders. See section 59V of the Electricity Industry Act 2004.
The register contains information on each registration holder, including its contact details for enquiries or complaints, the type of AES being provided, the date the registration was granted and, for a single property network operator, the names and addresses of the registered properties.
